21:02 hours. Station 6 alerted for the house fire. ECC advised multiple calls received. Upon arrival, heavy fire was evident from the rear of the structure and roof areas. All occupants were able to exit the residence without injury. After the fire was knocked, a recon of the structure was initiated, and firefighters were able to enter the structure to perform salvage and overhaul. Firefighters were able to retrieve family personal items and holiday gifts.

The Maryland State Fire Marshalls office arrived to perform the cause investigation. Red Cross is assisting the family.
