Just before 1am on 12/6. units were dispatched for a house fire in the 18000blk of Keedysville Rd in Co.1’s first due. First arriving units went on the scene with smoke showing from the eaves with reports of an attic fire. Truck 6 and Tanker 6 responded with 5 personal on the call. Truck 6 arrived and positioned on side alpha. Crew from Truck 6 assisted engine 1-1 with extinguishing the fire on the 2nd floor, Deputy chief 6 assumed the initial command until the arrival of Asst Chief 1. Units operated for approximately 2hrs before returning to service.
