Shortly after 3:00 p.m., Company 8 and 6 were alerted for the wires down with fire in the area of Raspberry Road and Park Hall Road. Units arrived and found live wires with an active brush fire. As a precaution due to the wind, and with the live wires hindering fire fighting operations, an additional tanker and brush truck was requested.

After a portion of the down wire was burned through, crews were able to extinguish the fire. Crews remained on scene until arrival of the power utility.
