We are pleased to announce the acquisition of an ambulance for the Rohrersville/Pleasant Valley area.
The unit was acquired from the Warrensville (N.C.) Fire & Rescue Dept. This will provide a quicker service time to our community, and lessen the burden for our mutual aid partners.
Staffing for the unit will be provided by volunteers and two 24 hour career staff through a partnership with Washington County Emergency Services.
We are in the process of outfitting the unit with the required equipment and supplies and preparing for inspections.
The ambulance will go into service in early 2025. We will provide updates on the progress.
