ECC alerted companies 8&6 to Locust Grove for the reported house fire. Engine Tanker 8 and Engine 61 arrived together to find a small fire in the kitchen with a heavy smoke condition. Appliances and cabinets were removed and walls opened up to ensure there was no extension.
