Volunteers from the Boonsboro Fire Department and Career Staff from the Washington County Division of Emergency Services staff conducted drafting operations training at the Brownsville Pond on Tuesday March 7th. Drafting allows firefighters to pull water from ponds in rural areas where fire hydrants are not available.
