Over a 24-hour period, beginning on May 14, 2021 at 9:00AM, and ending the following morning, May 15, 2021 at 9:00AM, the Town of Boonsboro’s Water & Waste Water Department will be conducting a leak survey at the drinking water reservoir, located on Boonsboro Mountain Road. After a spray disinfection treatment, scuba divers will be entering the reservoir to search for leaks. Until lab testing can confirm no contamination occurred during the dive and leak search, we are requiring customers to boil their tap water before drinking or ingesting.
